NeuroNano is a Small Collaborative Project funded by the European Commission 7th Framework Programme, contract number NNP4-SL-2008-214547 which commenced on February 1st 2009 for 36 months.

What is NeuroNano? "Do nanoparticles induce neurodegenerative diseases? Understanding the origin of reactive oxidative species and protein aggregation and mis-folding phenomena in the presence of nanoparticles."

The project is coordinated by the Centre for BioNano Interactions  at University College Dublin, and has 11 partners from Europe, USA, Japan and Brazil.
